The SDG8000A Series function/arbitrary waveform generators are available in 2-channel and 4-channel configurations, all featuring 16-bit vertical resolution, an interpolated sampling rate of up to 12 GSa/s, a maximum output frequency of 5 GHz, and a modulation bandwidth of 2 GHz. All models include 4 GSa of deep memory per channel for extended waveform playback without compromising signal bandwidth, and support vector modulation and high-speed serial pattern generation.

Arbitrary Waveform Generation
The SDG8000A Series provides up to 4 GSa memory depth per channel, supporting up to 800 ms of waveform playback even at the maximum sampling rate. It features powerful multi-level waveform sequence playback functions, including Segment, Sequence and Scenario modes. The instrument offers 196 built-in arbitrary waveforms covering mathematics, engineering, medical electronics, modulation and other application fields. Users can directly recall preset waveforms or customize and edit waveform files to quickly adapt to a wide range of test tasks.
Modulation and Vector Signal Generation
The SDG8000A supports analog and digital modulation functions, including AM, DSB-AM, FM, PM, FSK, ASK, PSK and PWM. Its vector signal output delivers a modulation bandwidth of up to 2 GHz. When outputting baseband signals with an external modulator, the signal bandwidth can be extended to 4 GHz, meeting the stringent requirements of wireless communication and RF testing. When paired with the SigIQPro PC software, the instrument supports I/Q data generation for a wide range of modulation formats, including 2ASK, 4ASK, 8ASK, BPSK, QPSK, 8PSK, DBPSK, DQPSK, D8PSK, 8QAM, 16QAM, 32QAM, 64QAM, 128QAM, 256QAM, 2FSK, 4FSK, 8FSK, 16FSK, MSK and MultiTone.
Noise & Special Signal Generation
The SDG8000A Series can not only accurately replicate standard signals, but also flexibly simulate complex real-world test environments. It generates a full range of special signals, including noise, multi-pulse, multi-tone, frequency hopping and linear frequency modulation (LFM) signals.
